This is for the VSN Trip Around the World. We started in Africa for inspiration from the Victoria Falls in Zambia for Misti's challenge. The photo is outstanding. What an amazing waterfall. It's so BIG. As I looked at the photo, I was stumped at first. Although the colors are awesome, they didn't grab me. I noticed instead the contrast of the dark silhouettes in the background to the pure white water of the falls. Also, I was impressed by massive movement of the water on its journey to the ocean. I wanted to make a Christmas card and that led me to think about the journey taken by the Wise Men to get to Bethlehem to see the Christ Child. I reversed the order and did white silhouettes on a dark background. The white fringe represents the white water as it begins its plummet over the edge. The swirling embossing folder represents the turbulent water at the bottom of the falls. Both panels are raised up. Great challenge, Misty! TFL
